Sulyap Cafe: A Hidden Gem

The first floor of the restaurant

Facade of Sulyap Cafe

A charming nook with artistic taste housed in a two-story Spanish colonial type house. A hidden gem in the city of San Pablo, Laguna, perfect for romantic dates and intimate gatherings. Its richness not only satisfies one's appetite but is also filling for the eyes and the soul.

Sulyap Cafe offers a variety of delectable dishes at a reasonable price for a fine dining experience in a uniquely beautiful setting. Its Filipino touch adds a coziness that makes you want to stay longer.

Yummy banana-mango crepe with chocolate ice cream and syrup

It was the perfect dinner place for a renewal of spirit-bonds with my long-time girlfriends. After quite some time, Karla had come to visit from Australia and the five of us were complete again. We were also with some of the most special people in our lives, who are now part of our growing "family".

Aside from enjoying the great-tasting food (I've forgotten what they were called but you can check out the pics here), we had a lot of fun checking out the antique furniture and little trinkets they had at the shop. And of course, we were immersed in the beauty of the rare pieces and had a good time taking photos of each other.

We should have a picture like this taken when we're old and gray already

If you ever stay in San Pablo, you shouldn't miss out on this wonderful place!
